About Me

Hello!

I'm Ethan "Bullitt" Callister, a hardcore esports player-student-enthusiast, lover of cool cars, and dedicated finance major at Western Kentucky University.

My mission is to help make esports more accessible to everyone. Growing up, esports was not as understood or embraced as traditional sports such as football, basketball, and soccer. This makes it both difficult for parents, schools, and local communities to support and for young talents to get recognized. I aim to change this for future generations.

I am currently a professional VALORANT player for WKU and participate on a few other teams as well. I've had the privilege of competing and networking at high industry levels and hope to grow in this area even more in the future.

My journey in the world of competitive gaming started at a young age with CS:GO, Fortnite, and Urban Terror. However, a few years ago, I shifted my focus entirely to VALORANT, a game that allows me to hone my interest and skills in breaking down game mechanics.

In August 2022, I started college as both a finance student and esports athlete. I always look for opportunities to bridge these two worlds and help contribute to the growth and continued success of the gaming community at my school. Recently, I helped rewrite and pitch improved scholarship contracts, and helped secure funding and support for emerging talents and coaching staff.

Competitively, I have a few accomplishments that I am particularly proud of, including: 8th place in the country in 2023 CVAL, 4th place at the UKY x Gen.G event, Team MVP against Ghost Gaming in the 2022 VCT groups, competing and excelling in LAN events, and several victories in various collegiate leagues. I also enjoy participating in post game reviews and interviews as my team's spokesperson. You can follow my journey on Twitch and Instagram. I also enjoy sharing videos of my gameplay on YouTube.

Looking beyond competitive play and college, I plan to start a career that allows me to contribute to the larger esports ecosystem. I want to work alongside industry experts, esports organizations, and game development companies. My goal is to leverage my lifelong passion, insights, experiences, and academic background to influence and develop future business models, partnerships, and nurturing grounds for budding talents worldwide.

Thank you for stopping by my corner of the Internet. Whether you're a fellow gamer, collaborator, professional, or esports enthusiast like me, I would love to network with you. You can reach me anytime on LinkedIn or via email.
